Trump’s America: Hatred of Immigrants Becomes Policy

Second in a three-part series on the dangerous ramifications of a Trump presidency

Hate is a strong word. It’s an ugly word. And in this case, it’s the right word.

Twice impeached, four-time indicted, former president/insurrectionist Donald Trump and the majority of the Republican Party sitting under his thumb hate immigrants – especially the undocumented kind.

They hate them with a white-hot fervor. In his quest to once again lead a country build by immigrants, Trump and his friends have unveiled their master plan to use the power of the presidency to demonize, dehumanized, and destroy them. To round them up like wild animals. To throw them out for no good reason. To use them as political props. To hold them up as objects to fear and loathe. Just another set of tools in harnessing his cult and herding them to the ballot box in November to return him to power.

Hyperbole? You don’t have to believe me. Believe what the man himself and his lackeys say. Believe your ears and your eyes. Let’s look and listen.

About Rick Elia

Rick Elia wrote for a newspaper for over 20 years, until he stopped doing that. After that he did some (mostly perfectly legal) stuff we don’t want to talk about. He started writing Facebook posts as therapy for the trauma of the 2016 presidential election. One day he came up with the idea of putting his writings into a blog. So he did. Previously, he created two other blogs: The Folks from Patterson Avenue: http://www.pattersonavenue.blogspot.com 3 Dog Productions Video Village: http://www.3dogproductions.blogspot.com
