Donald Trump called the press the “enemy of the people.” In fact, this historically corrupt president, with the assistance of the Republican Party, was simply laying the groundwork for the tidal wave of lies that would follow and continue to this day.
Our democracy can’t survive without a free and effective press. That’s why the Right hates it so much, and that’s why we must not let it be destroyed.
