Sen. Mitt Romney calls the strategy of some Democrats to boost GOP candidates pushing the Big Lie of voter fraud during the 2020 election in hopes of having a more beatable opponent in this year’s general election “stupid.”
I call it chickenshit.
I imagine there aren’t too many things that Romney and I would agree on, but this is one of them. Democrats are spending money to elevate some far-right candidates. Their hope is that they’ll be unelectable come November.
“It’s not illegal, but it sure is stupid,” Romney told The Huffington Post. “Be careful what you wish for. You may select somebody who actually wins, and then you hurt the country as well as your own party.”
